Week Eight Recap (with Pics and Measurements)

Week 8 was a SUCCESS!
My goal was to eat without cheats or slip ups and I DID IT! I am so proud of myself.  I don't have to sit on here and list every little thing I did against my rules for this 12 week challenge.
A few things I avoided during the week was indulging at restaurants (we had 3 birthday celebrations last week: my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and breakfast out for Rori's actual birthday on the 9th).  I would've normally thrown caution to the wind and had cocktails (not at breakfast!!), fries, soda, sweets, pancakes or french toast and tons of other carbs (buns, tortillas, etc, etc). I also had lunch with my friend at one of my favorite places to get sweets (they have AWESOME brownies) and I didn't give a second look at the treats at the Suns game with my son on Saturday.  My favorite food at sporting events are the giant soft pretzels with cheese. And, I'm becoming a pro at dissing the donuts at church on Sundays now.  Whoo hoo!
As far as the numbers go: I am down another 6.75 inches and 4 pounds (from 4 weeks ago).  I have noticed a big difference in my body these last 4 weeks.  I don't feel as flabby and my stomach is flatter.
I messed up on the day numbers (it's technically day 1, day 28 & day 56), oops.
I have joined a clean eating group for this week on an app called Body Board.  I am taking pictures of my meals and posting them for accountability (and in hopes of winning a signed FIXate cookbook from Autumn Calabrese!!). So, I'm shooting for another great week.  Wish me luck!
